Frederick Edward Triebe, Jr. has served as Foodservice Director for Camp Edwards since March of 2011.
Prior to camp, Fred held many positions in the hospitality industry including line cook, head chef, manager, and ultimately owner of his family restaurant which he ran successfully for 21 years.
Fred was born in Chicago Illinois, attended grade schools in Des Plaines, high school at Buffalo Grove, and moved to Texas to attend West Texas State University.
Fred is a lifelong viola player who began Suzuki teachings at age 7 and played through his school career in orchestras and chamber groups, including the Chicago Civic Orchestra and the Amarillo Symphony.
Fred is married to Nancy, his lovely wife of 13 years, and together they enjoy working at Camp Edwards, spending time with family, fixing up old houses, and playing with their dog Murphy.
