Main camp is considered the area around Micklewright Lodge (our dining hall) and the original 50 acres of Camp Edwards.
Cabin Area -
The Cabin Area consists of 13 identical cabins and 3 larger cabins. These cabin have electrcity, heat, and an exhaust fan (exception being Sacajawea). A central bathhouse is used by all the cabins, this building called KYBO, has toilets and sinks for both genders upstairs and showers downstairs. It has been newly renovated in spring of 2022.

- Micklewright Lodge accommodates our dining hall, kitchen, Support Staff housing and our Lakeside Nature Center.
- Seigle Welcome Center hosts our administrative offices and camp health lodge.
- There are 13 identical sleeping cabins for our guests that sleep up to 10 people. Ten of these are the original cabins of Camp Edwards.
- Through necessary expansion, we have three other sleeping buildings in the main camp area: Sequoia Hut- sleeps 16; Sacajawea (the yurt) sleeps 12; Waukon- sleeps 16.
All cabins are winterized with wall heaters and are equipped with exhaust fans for the summer (exhaust fans not in Sacajawea and Waukon)
- The Plats are our seasonal open air cabins reserved for our Trekker Boys. Nestled up in the woods, the Plats take on a life of their own in summer. The oldest boys enjoy the seclusion and camaraderie the unit provides.
- The KYBO (Shower house) services our main camp area. It is equipped with showers, toilets and sinks for all of our main camp guests’ needs.
- The Trading Post is our camp store. Campers and guests can shop for camp apparel and souvenirs as well as ice cream (summer only), healthy option snacks, water, sports drinks, and juices.

Family Lodge Area
Hoffer and Runge Lodges are utilized year round in a variety of capacities. In the summer, both lodges host our leadership program campers and staff, while also serving as family camp lodges and shoulder season housing for weekend groups and Environmental Education groups.
