Once a year we ask for your help to open doors for our community through supporting Golden Corridor Family YMCA’s Annual Campaign. The Annual Campaign is about people; to raise funds for families who cannot otherwise fully afford YMCA programs and services. The need for assistance has grown dramatically this year, and now more than ever, we need your support.

TO EMPOWER YOUTH.

Golden Corridor Family YMCA plays a critical role in raising children. Few people know the YMCA is the leading provider of child care across the nation. Each day we educate and care for 575+ children through our preschool, before/after school, and summer camp programs. If a child falls behind in school, they will benefit from YMCA tutoring. If a child’s family cannot afford swim lessons, we scholarship swim lessons. If a child has special needs, we will meet them.

TO IMPROVE HEALTH.

YMCA’s are well known for fitness, but we also offer supportive programs for those with chronic health issues. The YMCA LIVESTRONG Program assists individuals that are living with, through, or beyond cancer to improve their fitness and quality of life. The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program helps people with pre-diabetes make life-changing dietary changes, increase physical activity, and work towards weight loss.

TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY.

The YMCA strives to help make our community an even better place to live by providing vital community resources to all. Campaign contributions are invested in people where 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to children and families. It’s a day filled with fun, active play, and educational activities. Meet some of your favorite mascots, visit supporting vendors from across our area, and receive FREE giveaways!
